This client is a busy, small and friendly Timaru based Structural Engineering Consultancy with a well established client base, covering a wide variety of projects.
A new role has been created due to an increase in forward workload and a technically strong Structural Engineer would ensure the delivery of current and future projects and add to their structural engineering capacity.
Success in this role will be achieved by managing your own projects, and being well organised whilst working largely unsupervised. As an engineer with a wide range of skills, you will enjoy a variation of work including design of small to medium residential, light commercial and industrial projects including earthquake related work. You will need a hands on approach, enjoy problem solving and have excellent client liaison skills.
The office environment is busy yet with an easy going management style and close to the central business area. Prospects for future advancement involve possible purchase of the business on owners retirement.
