Our high profile NZ client is urgently seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist on a contract basis.
Initially for 6 months, your role will involve managing, consolidating and developing the group‘s procurement activities across a number of spend areas.
You will be managing key supplier arrangements and also ensure that the necessary compliance and risk controls and reporting are in place.
You will get involved in strategic sourcing, business case preparation, RFIs and RFPs processes, as well as contract negotiation.
You will be a strong communicator with a sound track record in Procurement / Category management in a fairly large, complex organisation.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing and charismatic, with high levels of self motivation and the ability to influence and motivate others.
