As a Senior Stormwater Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of:

• Flood mitigation and stormwater planning: Lead investigations, modelling, and design of stormwater systems to reduce flood risks and improve water quality.

• Infrastructure development: Provide technical recommendations for land development projects, ensuring alignment with environmental and infrastructure standards.

• Hydrologic and hydraulic modelling: Use advanced modelling tools to simulate water flow, assess infrastructure capacity, and propose upgrades.

• Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with planners, developers, iwi, Regional Council, and central government agencies to deliver integrated solutions.

• Emergency response: Support the planning and management of flood events and respond to immediate stormwater issues.

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent professional qualification.

• Significant experience in stormwater engineering.

• Strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling.

• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver on timelines.

• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills

• Experience with resource consent documentation and land development engineering.
