The opportunity
We are looking for a practical, personable, organised, and strategic Facilities and Procurement Manager to lead the effective management and continuous improvement of DairyNZ’s corporate and farm workspaces. Based in Hamilton, you will oversee their national footprint—including offices in Lincoln, Invercargill, Palmerston North, Stratford, Rotorua, Whangārei, and Wellington—ensuring their facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with organisational needs.
As a key member of the Corporate Services team, you will also lead corporate procurement and office support services, driving operational efficiency, value for money, and seamless administrative operations. You will manage three direct reports and collaborate across teams to ensure their infrastructure supports DairyNZ’s strategic goals.
You will:
- Lead corporate facilities planning and operations to ensure safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose workspaces
- Manage health and safety compliance for buildings and infrastructure, in collaboration with the H&S Lead
- Oversee procurement strategies that support office and farm operations, with a focus on cost-efficiency and sustainability
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage contracts to ensure quality service delivery
- Align office resources and support services with operational needs across all locations
- Attract, lead, and develop a high-performing team delivering facilities and support services.

We would love to hear from you if you have:
- A proven track record of managing corporate facilities, including strategic planning and budgeting in a corporate office-based environment
- Experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relations
- Proven project management experience, including change and stakeholder management
- A strong history of leading and developing teams
- Sound analytical skills to evaluate options and recommend effective solutions
- A practical, personable, organised, and strategic approach to leadership
