Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

As a Facilities Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a diverse property portfolio. Acting as a central point of coordination, you’ll support maintenance delivery, tenant requests, and contractor management while contributing to a proactive facilities management approach. In this role, you will coordinate contractors for maintenance and repair work, obtain quotes, and manage jobs through to completion while ensuring all works meet health and safety requirements. You’ll act as the first point of contact for tenant maintenance requests, taking responsibility for logging, prioritising, and tracking jobs to ensure timely resolution. You will also support preventative maintenance programmes and carry out site visits to inspect completed works and identify any emerging issues. In addition, you’ll manage keys, access systems, and security registers, while maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reporting to support efficient property operations.

You will bring experience in facilities coordination, property management, or a similar environment, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, supported by a basic understanding of building maintenance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
