Your new role

Due to ongoing growth within the business, this role has been developed for a Site Manager who is looking to join a high performing team. The responsibilities in the role are as follows:

• Day to day management of on-site workforce and subcontractors
• Ensuring all work is completed to the plans and specifications
• Negotiating with local contractor and supplies for estimates
• Taking ownership of fortnightly programming and providing weekly updates
• Utilising Microsoft Office & Projects to maintain all site records
• Liaise closely with clients, engineers and councils
• Attending regular management meetings for progress reporting

As projects can be throughout New Zealand, this role will require travel, and you will need to be comfortable working away for periods between 3 and 6 months.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be a driven individual who want to continue to develop their skills and willing to learn from an experienced project team. This position requires outstanding communication skills, so you'll be confident dealing with a range of stakeholders and be comfortable providing regular updates both face to face and in writing. Ideally, you'll have a background in commercial construction and a track record of delivering projects that can range from $5 to $10 million. You must be willing to travel for this role.
