Located South Auckland, family owned and operated, my client specialises in bespoke joinery solutions for the residential market, including high-end boutique homes, multi-level apartment projects and volume builds. Operating for 20+ years, they have built a name for themselves in the industry, fostering long-term builder relationships and winning repeat business time and time again. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CAD Detailer to join the team.

Your new role

My client is seeking an experienced CAD Detailer to complete tasks such as:

• Read and interpret architectural plans, collaborating with the team to determine client requirements and job specifications
• Create precise and detailed joinery drawings using Cabinet Vision, ensuring these match with the allocated budget and pricing
• Liaise with production teams to ensure drawings have been completed accurately, with minimal errors in the transition from design to manufacture
• Produce shop drawings and cutting lists for production, and accurate cabinet designs for client sign off

What you'll need to succeed

The below skills are required to ensure you are able to maintain the expectations of the role:

• Ideally some experience with Cabinet Vision Software, however this is not a must
• Experience as a drafter
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced role with a problem-solving mindset
