Your new company

You will be working for a chartered accountancy firm based in the commercial centre of Southland, the city of Invercargill. This well established organisation has a long history of supporting the local community and a strong reputation across varying types and sizes of clients.

Your new role

You will be working in their business services team, as either an intermediate or senior accountant depending on your experience, your qualifications and your current career position. Your role will be centred on supporting the partners and managers to deliver a high standard of service to your clients. Your tasks will vary depending on your team and your partners workflow and will be similar to the tasks you may have completed in your current position. You will also be expected to take on new tasks as your career grows in the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need a good level of experience across the chartered accountancy world, and strong technical and IT skills. You will be ambitious and driven, with a desire to move your career forwards from your current position. Ideally you will be working towards your CA certification or fully certified, with a bachelors degree to underpin your professional qualifications - however this is not essential and experience and competence is more important.
