Refractory Brick laying

We are looking for bricklayers for a short-term project in Australia.

Your new company

The company we are working alongside is looking for experienced or qualified bricklayers to work on their temporary project they have in Australia. They are a highly reputable company in Australia and have a number of projects in the pipeline. The company are willing to pay for your flights and accommodation, and they will allow you to have a $75 daily food allowance.

Your new role

The role would consist of you building furnaces as well as fluid bed roasters. They have a number of different locations where you can work, and they are open for you to pick which location you would prefer to work.

The role would consist of working from mid-October to mid-December, working 12 hours, working 10 days on and having 1 day off. As there is a big push to get this project completed, they offer day or night shifts (You cannot swap shifts during the project, so the shift you start on will be one for the duration of the job). There are overtime rates as well as weekend rates.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in Refractory Brick laying

  • Motivated to work long hours/day

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment

  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (Alcohol testing is a daily occurrence on site)
