About Us:
Hays are recruiting for a reputable painting company known for their high-quality work and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable painter to join their team.
Job Description:
We are looking for someone who is motivated and capable of working on their own as well as in a team of painters, being able to show newer staff a few of the processes in getting the walls prepared for painting.
You will also be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to various surfaces. You will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring a high standard of expertise and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional painting experience
- Must have own transport
- Painting equipment can be supplied by the client for perishables
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces for painting (e.g., cleaning, sanding, and priming)
- Mixing and matching paints to achieve desired colours and finishes
- Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces
- Ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and safety
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members
