Are you passionate about training and development? Our client in the facilities management industry is seeking a dynamic Trainer/Training Manager to lead and deliver high-quality training across their national operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong industry experience and a knack for engaging learners.


Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

  • Deliver and manage training programs across NZ, including occasional overnight and weekend travel.
  • Design, assess, and report on training outcomes.
  • Support operational excellence through upskilling and workforce development.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with HR and HSE teams to align training with strategic goals.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the cleaning industry, including supervisory roles.
  • Hands-on expertise in carpet cleaning, strip & seal, and scrubbing.
  • Experience in training delivery, curriculum design, and assessment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and numeric reasoning ability.
  • Physically fit with a strong work ethic.
  • Current and clean NZ driver’s licence.

Ideally you'll also have all, or some of the following. However, qualification development can be provided for the right person.
  • NZQA Cleaning Level 2 or Level 3 Supervision
  • Careerforce Registered Qualified Assessor
  • Level 5+ qualification in Management, Operations, Hospitality, or related field
  • Train the Trainer certification
