As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance function, guaranteeing that all stakeholders' needs are fulfilled. This role involves managing the finance team, accurately recording financial transactions, and reporting on financial performance.

• Lead and mentor a finance team of 3, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Manage the preparation of monthly financial reporting, including financial performance and position KPIs
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

• Chartered Accountancy qualification, including membership of CAANZ or equivalent

• A minimum of 5 years working in a financial management role including oversight of operational finance functions

• Experience in managing, developing and motivating staff to reach their potential and achieve organisational objectives

• Experience in budgeting and forecasting

• Extensive knowledge of acts, regulations and professional practices relating to financial accounting and management
