• This position requires a strong understanding of software licensing regulations and contracts, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The specialist must be able to manage multiple lines of effort simultaneously and have strong organisational and planning skills.

• Manage and maintain software license agreements and contracts.

• Monitor and track software licenses and usage to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulations.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for software usage and compliance.

• Work with other teams to ensure software is used efficiently and effectively.

• Coordinate software audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and licensing agreements.

• Provide guidance and training to staff on software licensing policies and procedures.

• Research and evaluate new software licenses and agreements to ensure compliance with regulations and organisation needs.

• Negotiate software licensing agreements and contracts to ensure cost-effective and efficient software usage.

• Manage software asset inventory and provide reporting on usage and compliance.
  
  

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in software licensing and compliance.

• Strong knowledge of software licensing regulations, contracts, and agreements.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong organisational and planning skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple lines of effort simultaneously.
