Are you a skilled technical writer looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? We have an exciting 6-month contract role available for a dedicated professional to support a key project.
You will be instrumental in creating processes and supporting collateral for our client's process portal, enabling contract managers to perform their roles effectively. This role involves working closely with two principal advisors to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
Job Duties
- Create clear, concise, and step-by-step process documents and supporting collateral.
- Draft communications for various audiences, including speaker notes for team members.
- Translate scoping notes, ideas, and issues into actionable documents.
- Follow detailed guidance and expectations of the business process portal format.
- Track progress and engage with the project group to ensure timely delivery.
- Attend weekly project meetings and provide updates as needed.
- Report to and take direction from Principal Commercial Advisers.
Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a senior technical writer or document specialist, with a strong portfolio of technical documents.
- Ability to write in plain English, avoiding jargon, and create clear, concise, and step-by-step process documents.
- Familiarity with procurement or commercial processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent ability to draft communications for various audiences, including speaker notes for team members.
- Strong focus on tracking progress, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality outputs.
- Availability to work 15–20 hours per week, with the possibility of adjusting hours based on project needs.
- Ability to obtain a basic security clearance to access client systems and offices.
