We’re excited to announce an opening for an Automated Warehouse Specialist to join our team at IKEA. If you have a deep passion and curiosity surrounding the most contemporary solutions to warehousing and fulfilment, we want to hear from you!
To be considered for this role experience in the following is essential:
Strong troubleshooting skills, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
A big-picture thinker who can assess system efficiencies and implement enhancements.
Knowledge of automation processes; tertiary qualifications in the industry are highly desirable.
What you need to know:
The work location for this role once the store is open will be the IKEA store at Sylvia Park.
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts based on store trading hours. You also must have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts.
The internal title for this role is Automated Warehouse Specialist.
The expected start date for this role is 11th August 2025.
The first step of the recruitment process will be an application form. If you are successful to the next step, you will be notified via email and be invited to complete a video Interview.
Training and onboarding will involve international travel to a fellow IKEA location which has automation processes in place. It is therefore essential that you have a valid passport and are able to travel abroad for 1-2 weeks.
IKEA Sylvia Park is a non-smoking workplace.
Car parking will not be provided. Therefore, IKEA encourages all co-workers to utilise public transport whenever possible.
