Document Preparation & Settlement File Manager

Our client specialises in delivering the full range of mortgage processing and administration services. For almost 20 years, they've provided financial institutions with a broad range of services, including mortgage processing, FASTRefi title insurance, conveyancing and BPO processing.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

Responsible for overseeing the verification and settlement process, ensuring all requirements are met from preparation through to settlement confirmation. This includes managing post-settlement tasks such as system updates and banking procedures. Key tasks:

  • Manage, respond and own client queries /escalation.
  • Empowerment going above and beyond meeting clients requirements on a daily basis.
  • Prepare loan contracts and all required mortgage documents accurately and in line with client instructions.
  • Verify allocation of new files daily and accurately identify and advise any outstanding requirements.
  • Follow up any outstanding information with client and/ or relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure all lender requirements and special conditions have been satisfied.
  • Work with clients to ensure that any issues that arise are resolved promptly.
  • Regularly follow up any outstanding requirements in line with SLA’s.

  • Prior experience with mortgage documentation

  • Mortgage industry experience desirable

  • Familiar with land titles and mortgage aspects of property law

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent data entry skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload

  • Acceptance of feedback

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment

  • Ability to adhere to company's values

  • Highly developed customer service skills
