Financial Controller
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role of Financial Controller embraces a mix of strategic and financial challenges and demands a dynamic and motivated individual with a strong financial background. The financial responsibilities include ensuring accurate financial processes, reporting, managing relationships with auditors and providing leadership across all finance functions, cash management and balance sheet optimisation.
Also, to have the ability to manage a high-performing team and contribute to the strategic direction of the business.
Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in Commerce or Finance with experience in a similar role.
- CA/CPA qualified
- Have an in-depth understanding of financial transactions (AP & AR), reporting, month/year-end and audit process
- Proven experience in leading process and system implementations
- Proven experience in building successful teams and the leadership of others
- Be resilient and agile, able to meet senior stakeholders' expectations in a fast-paced environment and highly committed to timelines.
- Ability to promote change as needed to hold to the principles of continuous improvement
- Be a strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to analyse and evaluate operational effectiveness and determine change in direction where necessary
- Experience in building strong and positive relationships at all levels of the organisation and key stakeholders
