As an IKEA Co-worker - Product Quality & Recovery, you are or have:

  • A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
  • A passion for building furniture, our products, and our sustainability initiatives.
  • Motivated, results-driven mindset that does not shy away from challenges.
  • Experience with regular use of computers and IT systems.
  • Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and ability to be able to think outside the box.
  • A safety mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including repetitive lifting.


What you need to know

  • The work location for this role is our Sylvia Park store, Auckland.
  • This is a PART-TIME Permanent role with the following hours available:
  • 60-79 working hours per fortnight
  • 40-59 working hours per fortnight
  • 24-39 working hours per fortnight
  • The internal title for this role is IKEA Co-worker - Product Quality & Recovery.
  • The expected start date for this role is 8th September 2025.
  • The first step of the recruitment process will be an application form. If you are successful to the next step, you will be notified via email.
  • Applications close 14/07/25.
  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts based on trading hours. You also must have the availability to work weekends.
  • IKEA Sylvia Park is a non-smoking workplace.
  • Car parking will not be provided and, therefore, IKEA encourages all co-workers to utilise public transport wherever possible.
