We are seeking an experienced AWS AI Engineer for a 6-month contract to join a high-performing team focused on building a next-generation cloud platform for AI-driven network agents. This hands-on role is central to the organisation’s AI strategy, with a key milestone of launching live agents into production by August.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Platform or Cloud Engineer
  • Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally with Terraform or AWS CDK
  • Deep understanding of AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, and API Gateway
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bonus: Experience with AWS AI/ML services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker) or agentic platforms
