Are you a resilient, hands-on HR professional ready to make a real impact in a business navigating change? We're looking for a confident and operationally focused HR Business Partner to join a well-known organisation based in Christchurch, supporting their Lower North and South Island operations.

This is a great opportunity to step into a critical role for the team, working closely with a dedicated HR Advisor and reporting directly to a senior leader who values initiative and autonomy. Your ability to cut through the noise, coach leaders, and drive practical HR solutions will be key with responsibilities including:

• Partnering with regional managers across the South Island
• Providing expert support in employee relations, coaching and advisory
• Driving and embedding HR initiatives across the business
• Supporting your portfolio with hands-on, operational HR
• Navigating a complex environment with confidence and resilience

Some travel will be required.
This is a 6-month contract with an immediate start and will require someone able to commit to the length of the contract.

You'll be an experienced HR generalist who thrives in fast-paced, high-change environments and will bring strong ER and advisory experience.
You'll be able to hit the ground running, be self-sufficient, possess high levels of EQ and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships across all levels. You'll be a natural coach and problem-solver and will thrive in an environment where you are supporting managers through uncertainty.
