Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

As Procurement Officer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers for plumbing and HVAC related materials
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery terms
  • Managing inventory levels and coordinating logistics to job sites
  • Tracking procurement costs and contributing to project budgeting
  • Maintaining accurate records and generating procurement reports
  • Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to meet project timelines
  • Managing tender processes and establishing preferred supplier agreements

  • Proven experience in procurement ideally within the construction industry or similar
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Enjoyment of being face to face with clients and the hustle!
  • Familiarity with NZ compliance and building standards
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
