Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor and hands-on leader, helping to guide financial performance across a range of projects and business activities. Your day-to-day will include:

• Leading month-end close, reporting, and project accounting

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and pricing decisions

• Managing CAPEX, WIP, and cash flow processes

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements

• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving change

• Coaching and mentoring team members to foster a high-performance culture

• Supporting safety and sustainability initiatives across the business

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a people-first mindset. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or commerce

• CA or equivalent professional qualification

• At least 7 years’ experience in a senior finance role

• Strong analytical skills and a knack for solving problems

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

• A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build strong relationships across the business

• A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in helping others succeed

• Bonus points for experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or similar project-based industries OR working in a large, high-volume turnover organisation
