This technical role is responsible for delivering high-quality digital solutions with support from the technical leadership team. You’ll collaborate across disciplines design, strategy, production, and development to bring creative visions to life. Working alongside developers of all levels, you’ll contribute to a wide range of projects including web apps, native apps, cloud architecture, and DevOps.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

A minimum of 6 years’ experience working with various languages in a professional production environment (e.g. Python, PHP, Node.js JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS and more)

A minimum of 6 years’ experience working with relevant frameworks, libraries, CMS solutions etc. (e.g. Angular, React, jQuery, SASS, LESS, Django, Drupal, Contentful and more)

A minimum of 6 years’ experience working with software development workflow processes and tools (e.g. Git, Jira, Gerrit, CLI and more)

Experience through the full software development life cycle (scoping, design, development, qa, deployment, and maintenance and more)

Experience with web application architecture and knowledge of appropriate solutions for deployment to various environments (e.g. Webpack, Application Architecture to support modular development, Deployment processes for Staging & Production environments, Hosting & Serving files, File optimisation & compression and more)

Experience with cloud architecture and knowledge of appropriate products & solutions (e.g. GCP, AWS, DigitalOcean and more)

Experience working with full-stack technologies

Experience with APIs including design, development and support for API solutions

Advanced understanding of Valid markup, Security and Privacy best practices (e.g. W3C, OWASP and more)

Qualifications in the field of computer science/ software engineering or equivalent practical experience

Experience working with Creative Teams and software (e.g. Wireframing, Prototyping, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite & others)

An understanding of Valid markup, Security and Privacy best practices (e.g. W3C, OWASP)

Capability to work on simultaneous projects and meet deadlines

An enthusiasm for keeping up to date on current topics in the field

Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge
