Seeking a HSEQ Partner for a leading civil construction company to help improve their H&S processes

Our client is a trusted name in civil infrastructure, known for delivering high-quality pipe-laying and water care solutions across the Auckland region. With a strong focus on community impact, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence, they’re seeking a dedicated HSEQ Partner to help improve their health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. We are looking for an individual that is dedicated to understanding the dynamics of their staff and help coach H&S processes to help ensure zero harm is front of mind.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

As a HSEQ Partner you will be:

  • Reviewing and improving HSEQ systems, documentation, and compliance processes
  • Conducting site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Supporting project teams with safety planning and regulatory alignment
  • Leading training and engagement initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture
  • Ensuring adherence to ISO standards and NZ legislation

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

  • A recognised qualification in Health & Safety or related field (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma in OHS)
  • Proven experience in civil construction—pipe laying or water infrastructure preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of NZ H&S and environmental regulations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A hands-on, collaborative approach with a passion for continuous improvement
