A leading private organization, with a sizeable IT team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work on a high-profile project, based in Auckland CBD. This is initially a 6-month contract, with our client seeking someone who is immediately available.

In your new role, you will be responsible in business process mapping and design by liaising with stakeholders to understand, identify and evaluate business requirements to business needs and determine solutions to business problems and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with clients to swiftly understand their needs and translate them into structured user stories and artefacts.
Take ownership of complex, often ambiguous requirements, driving them to clarity for Scrum teams.
Maintain a keen attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
Collaborate effectively within an agile environment.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

You should have formal Senior Business Analyst experience, which needs to include experience in requirements gathering, documentation and analysis — different methods, but there is an increasing move towards story maps and user stories.
Experience and knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, LEAN is a must
Experience in business process mapping and design and stakeholder analysis and engagement
A high standard of written English along with confident verbal presentation skills
