Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

This sole-charge role is ideal for someone who can seamlessly balance strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational delivery, and who enjoys working closely with senior leadership to drive people outcomes. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading all aspects of HR: strategy, operations, compliance, and culture.
• Partnering with senior leaders to influence and implement people initiatives.
• Managing performance, remuneration, talent development, and workforce planning.
• Navigating complex personalities and high expectations with confidence and tact.
• Acting as a trusted advisor, sounding board, and challenger to leadership.

• Proven experience working in a similar role, ideally within a corporate or professional services setting.
• A strong working knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation.
• A tertiary qualification in HR, or a related field.
• Ability to build strong, trusted relationships within a client-focused environment.
• You’re pragmatic, emotionally intelligent, and have the confidence to have robust conversations with senior leaders.
• Be solutions-focused, commercially savvy, and deeply understand the balance between people and performance.
