Tō tūranga hou | Your new role
- Support the franchise model by ensuring Health & Safety compliance across employees and franchisees.
- Monitor health, safety, and environmental performance in line with NZ legislation (Health and Safety at Work Act 2015).
- Prevent harm to employees, visitors, contractors, and subcontractors through proactive safety measures.
- Assist with franchise audits and compliance activities.
- Support HR functions as directed by the National HR and H&S Manager.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures across the company’s franchise system.
- Undertake special projects and duties as required by company governance.
Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role.
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety.
- Strong knowledge of NZ H&S legislation and HR compliance.
- Experience with ISO audits and certification processes.
- Excellent communication, training facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and resilience under pressure.
- HR or recruitment experience is a plus.
- First Aid certification is an advantage.
