We’re seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of our cloud-based Data Warehouse platform, ensuring it remains robust, high-performing, and continuously evolving to meet business needs.

In this pivotal role, you’ll architect and enhance modern data ecosystems using tools like Databricks, Power BI, and cloud-native data sharing technologies. You’ll also lead vendor partnerships, maintain platform reliability, and deliver scalable solutions that empower smarter, data-driven decisions across the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a strategic technical leadership role, influencing enterprise-wide data initiatives in a cloud-first environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design, manage, and optimise cloud-based Data Warehouse platforms
Ensure platform reliability, security, and compliance with governance frameworks
Lead incident response, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement efforts
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate platform operations
Collaborate with vendors, engineers, and analysts to deliver scalable data solutions
Support platform upgrades and change initiatives aligned with business goals

What You’ll Bring

Solid experience in Data Warehouse or Data Platform engineering
Expertise in Databricks, Power BI, or similar cloud technologies
Strong background in platform reliability, performance tuning, and automation
Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and engage senior stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills in complex technical environments
