Technical Lead

We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive solution architecture, technical design, and hands-on development across innovative digital platforms. This is a full-time, permanent position based in East Tāmaki.

Key Responsibilities
Architect scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with evolving business needs.
Lead development efforts and ensure smooth deployment processes.
Conduct code reviews and establish technical standards and best practices.
Mentor and support developers in growing their technical capabilities.
Champion innovation by evaluating and adopting modern tools, technologies, and methodologies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Contribute to initiatives that support cultural and language revitalisation through technology.

What You’ll Bring
A tertiary qualification in software development, computer science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Developer, with exposure to architectural decision-making and project delivery.
Strong proficiency in both front-end (e.g., React, TypeScript) and back-end (e.g., Go, Node.js) technologies.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS), microservices, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning and cultural engagement.
