You will be working for the Think Solar Group, a growing and thriving business in the construction and technology sector based out the stunning Central Otago town of Wanaka. Think Solar Group is a network of locally owned solar businesses currently across New Zealand’s South Island, dedicated to delivering high-quality solar and battery systems. This exciting organisation has gone through both change and development and is entering the next stages of their commercial progress.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

You will be working as a Finance Manager. In this newly created role, you will be reporting into the company directors and have two team members completing the transactional processing to allow you to work with the directors in order to move the business forwards in both strategic and operational efficiencies. Your responsibilities will be centred around management accounting reporting in order to understand how the business can evolve in a stable and maintainable way.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be an accomplished accounting professional with a background in management accounts, with experience working in commercial or private businesses. You will be based in Central Otago, or be willing to relocate to Wanaka. Ideally you will be a qualified or certified accountant, but this is not essential to your success - experience and capability carries more weight than certification.
