The Role:
As Legal Advisor, you will provide expert legal advice and support across a broad range of commercial and operational matters, including financial services, managed investment schemes, KiwiSaver, procurement, employment, and business transactions.

Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements to meet legal and business requirements
- Advising on new product initiatives and managing legal risk proactively
- Reviewing investment documents and marketing material for compliance
- Supporting regulatory reporting and compliance obligations
- Collaborating with internal teams and external counsel to deliver practical, business-focused solutions

- Mid to Senior level post-qualification experience in financial services (private practice or in-house)
- Strong understanding of investment management and financial markets regulation
- Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely
- A proactive, independent approach with exceptional attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience in financial services across multiple jurisdictions
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and AI tools
