Nisbets is seeking a Country Manager to take overall leadership of their New Zealand business. Reporting to the Managing Director ANZ, you’ll own the P&L, lead a team across sales, retail, and warehouse operations, and set the strategic direction for growth. This role demands a commercially driven leader with sharp operational acumen — someone who can deliver revenue growth, optimise costs, and ensure operational excellence across all channels.

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for their NZ business (11 employees)
  • Full financial management including P&L ownership
  • Drive sales and business development across digital, retail, and key accounts
  • Oversee retail operations and customer experience
  • Lead warehouse and supply chain management
  • Inspire, develop, and engage cross-functional teams
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and alignment with Bunzl standards

  • Degree in Business Management or related field is preferred
  • 5+ years senior leadership experience.
  • Strong track record of P&L management and commercial acumen
  • Experience across multi-channel environments (sales, retail, online, warehouse)
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams while driving operational excellence
  • Personal qualities: solutions-oriented, resilient, adaptable, and a strong communicator who builds trust quickly
