As the AI & Automation Lead, you will spearhead the development and deployment of AI-powered solutions and automation strategies across the business. This hands-on leadership role combines technical execution with strategic enablement, empowering teams to harness artificial intelligence and automation to boost efficiency, enhance customer experience, and deliver innovation at scale. You will identify high-value opportunities, design and implement AI/ML models and automation workflows, ensure seamless integration with existing systems, and champion responsible, ethical AI practices. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s technology landscape and future growth.

• Demonstrated extensive commercial expertise in AI, machine learning, data science, and automation development
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and automation solutions (including RPA and workflow automation)
• Proficient in Python or R, with hands-on experience using cloud-based AI platforms such as Azure AI and Google Vertex AI
• Track record of integrating AI and automation into business processes and existing systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Commercial experience managing vendors or external partners and working in agile environments
• Commitment to continuous learning, staying current with emerging AI and automation trends
