This Interim Management Accountant role will be working for a leading scientific organisation based in Dunedin.

Due to a resignation there is an opportunity for an experienced candidate to step into a short-term position to guide the company through an important period. This position will report to the Finance Manager, and will be responsible for bringing together some key monthly management accounts including trial balances, clearing GL and balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing the P&L and working with external auditors.

Due to the short-term nature of the role, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. This position will suit a qualified accountant with demonstrated ability in the above tasks. Attitude and communication are key in this role, with the ability to approach the tasks in a positive way, and to articulate your progress throughout the assignment being essential to the success of the position.
