Senior HR Advisor

Senior P&C Advisor role leading a fast‑paced, complex ER caseload | Fixed Term Contract

Our client is a large, well known organisation in their field, with a national presence. They have an opportunity for a talented Senior HR Advisor to join their team on an 18 month fixed term contract with a focus on ER.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in complex ER work and enjoys managing a steady stream of cases with autonomy and senior level support. The role sits within a high performing People & Culture team and plays a key part in supporting leaders across a large operational workforce. This role is heavily ER focused, managing a high volume case load end-to-end, including:
  • Disciplinary cases, performance processes, fitness for work assessments and medical cases at any given time
  • Supporting investigations, PG responses, mediator prep, and general employment compliance needs
  • Acting as an escalation point for Advisors and supporting capability uplift for people leaders
  • Providing day‑to‑day guidance on systems, policies, and HR processes
There is also exposure to broader P&C project work, including organisational change, union activities, and continuous improvement of internal processes.

  • 3+ years’ experience as an HR Advisor
  • Strong hands-on experience managing multiple ER cases at once
  • Proven capability leading investigations and advising on disciplinary and performance matters
  • Confidence working with senior leaders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong judgement, resilience, and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
