This is a senior, commercially focused Ecommerce Manager role responsible for owning and driving the performance of a national B2B ecommerce platform and associated digital trading ecosystem. Reporting into senior leadership and working closely with Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations, Category, and Customer Service, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of ecommerce strategy, trading, optimisation, and execution. Your remit is to maximise online revenue, increase customer adoption, and continuously improve the digital customer experience. This role suits a hands‑on ecommerce leader who enjoys accountability, data‑driven decision‑making, and working cross‑functionally in a complex operating environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and execute the ecommerce strategy and trading roadmap, aligned to broader business objectives
- Manage the day‑to‑day performance of the B2B ecommerce platform, including CRO, UX, site merchandising, navigation, search, and checkout optimisation
- Drive measurable growth across conversion rate, average order value, retention, and customer lifetime value
- Lead ecommerce analytics, reporting, dashboards, and performance insights for senior stakeholders
- Partner closely with IT and Operations on platform stability, releases, integrations, and UAT
- Collaborate with Marketing on acquisition, campaigns, and digital optimisation initiatives
- Support loyalty, retention, and personalisation programmes using customer and behavioural data
- Manage ecommerce tools, third‑party vendors, and external partners
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, testing, and optimisation

- 5+ years’ experience owning or leading ecommerce platforms (B2B experience highly regarded)
- Proven track record driving online revenue growth and platform adoption
- Strong understanding of ecommerce operations, including CMS, CRM, payments, inventory, fulfilment, and integrations
- Advanced analytical capability with confidence interpreting metrics such as conversion, AOV, CLV, retention, cart abandonment, and ROAS
- Experience delivering CRO initiatives, A/B testing, and UX improvements
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working cross‑functionally
- Commercial mindset with the ability to prioritise initiatives and optimise ROI
