About the Role
A great opportunity is available for an experienced Civil Logistics Supervisor to join the team at a North Island Solar Farm. You’ll oversee materials, equipment, and site logistics to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of daily operations. This role coordinates between project teams, operators, and labourers to keep the project moving safely and on schedule.

We’re looking for someone who can start mid–late April or flexible for a start into early May for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all materials, equipment, and logistics on site
  • Oversee material procurement and maintain stock accuracy
  • Request and track free‑issued materials from the client
  • Monitor design changes and BOM adjustments
  • Coordinate material movements to/from site and maintain documentation
  • Manage defect materials, quarantine, and reporting processes
  • Maintain strong inventory control
  • Ensure safe storage of materials, plant, and equipment
  • Coordinate 4–20 operators and labourers
  • Conduct basic visual VOC competency checks using software
  • Support safe waste removal and site housekeeping
  • Attend coordination meetings and provide logistics updates

What You’ll Bring:
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in civil logistics management (essential)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Materials management
    • Inventory control
    • Procurement processes
  • Familiarity with BOM tracking, design changes, and free‑issue materials
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and quality standards
  • Relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain, or similar
  • Strong organisation, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage and coordinate field teams in a fast‑moving environment
