About the Role
Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of multiple contracts. You’ll lead Contract Managers, Supervisors, and frontline teams while maintaining high safety standards, strong client relationships, and healthy financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a strong health & safety culture, ensuring all staff are trained, compliant, and supported, with a clear focus on zero lost time injuries, accurate incident reporting, and regular site audits.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality services across all contracts, including the smooth mobilisation of new contracts, effective day-to-day problem-solving, and ensuring labour, equipment, and materials are fit for purpose and on budget.
- Drive compliance with SOPs and quality standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, corrective actions, and improved customer satisfaction.
- Actively grow the business by securing new work at profitable margins, maximising revenue from existing clients, building strong relationships, and supporting additional service offerings and one-off projects.
- Manage financial performance by delivering on budget and profitability targets, monitoring labour and operating costs, controlling expenses, managing stock usage, and ensuring accurate, on-time payroll.
- Lead, recruit, and develop high-performing teams through fair and compliant processes, regular performance reviews, strong employee engagement, and proactive talent development.
- Provide clear, timely reporting across operations, sales, people, and health & safety, while maintaining the integrity and security of business systems.
About You
- Proven experience in operations or contract management within a multi-site environment
- Strong people leadership and performance management capability
- Solid health & safety knowledge and a proactive approach to risk management
- Commercial and financial confidence
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in facilities, cleaning, security, or service-based industries will be highly regarded.
