You will take end‑to‑end ownership of commercial and procurement leadership across major strategic programmes, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and governance boards. You will shape commercial strategy, build relationships and trust internally, lead complex supplier and contract arrangements, and manage risk, value, and performance across high‑impact initiatives. The role also involves leading and mentoring a small specialist team while working closely with stakeholders across government, industry, and partners to deliver sustainable, long‑term outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive experience leading complex commercial and procurement activities in large, regulated environments, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and governance forums. You will have strong judgement, commercial acumen, and a track record of managing high‑value supplier relationships, contracts, and risk across end‑to‑end lifecycles. Success also requires confident leadership capability, clear communication, and the ability to operate with integrity, pragmatism, and collaboration in a values‑driven organisation.
