Timber Joiners – Wellington

Location: Wellington, NZ Type: Full-time / Ongoing Pay: Competitive rates ($35–$45 per hour, based on experience)

Our client, a well-established joinery workshop in Wellington, is seeking experienced Timber Joiners to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople who take pride in high-quality workmanship and are looking for long-term, stable employment.

The Role

You will be working in a busy, modern workshop producing a range of high-end timber products, including:


  • Custom cabinetry and furniture
  • Timber doors and windows
  • Residential and commercial fit-outs
Key Responsibilities


  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Operating joinery machinery and hand tools safely and confidently
  • Producing high-quality finished timber products
  • Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For


  • Proven experience as a Timber Joiner
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to a quality finish
  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Requirements
