Senior front‑end engineer needed for Smart TV WebView POC contract

We’re partnering with a well-known organisation to support a short-term Proof of Concept focused on Smart TV application development.

This role will suit a senior frontend / JavaScript engineer with experience building web‑based applications and some exposure to Smart TV, Connected TV, or OTT environments.

Your day to day will look like:

  • Building a WebView‑based Smart TV app POC
  • Implementing remote‑based navigation and focus handling
  • Supporting video playback scenarios (VOD / live, DRM & non‑DRM)
  • Helping assess performance, usability, and platform viability

  • Strong JavaScript / HTML / front‑end engineering background
  • Experience with Smart TV / Connected TV / OTT apps (or closely related)
  • Comfortable working in POC or greenfield environments
