• Prepare monthly financial statements and complete month‑end tasks
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with annual financial statements and external audit
• Prepare GST, FBT, and other tax returns
• Support income tax calculations and liaise with advisors
• Maintain the general ledger, fixed asset register, and intercompany transactions
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure policy compliance
• Identify process improvements and support automation/AI initiatives
• Provide financial insights and support to internal teams

• Degree in Accounting/Finance
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards it
• 3–6+ years’ experience, ideally including Big 4
• Strong understanding of NZ accounting standards and tax with practical NZ experience
• Confident with ERP systems and advanced Excel
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Clear communicator who can explain financial information simply
• Forward‑thinking, open to change, and comfortable with new technology and AI tools
