We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Hammerhand to join a well-established construction team based in Wellington. This role offers consistent work and an opportunity to build on your experience within a supportive site environment.

You will be assisting qualified builders across a range of residential and/or commercial projects, supporting day-to-day construction activities and helping keep sites productive and safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting builders with general carpentry and construction tasks
  • Using hand and power tools safely
  • Site preparation, clean‑up, and material handling
  • Following health and safety procedures
  • Working efficiently as part of a team
What We’re Looking For

  • Previous hammerhand or construction experience
  • Own tools preferred
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to take direction and work well within a team
  • Reliable transport and punctuality
  • Site Safe preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour
