Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

As a Construction Foreman, you will take ownership of on-site delivery, leading crews and coordinating daily operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to plan works, manage subcontractors, and drive programme outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising site crews and subcontractors
  • Coordinating daily activities and short-term planning
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance and site standards are maintained
  • Monitoring progress against programme and resolving on-site challenges
  • Maintaining quality assurance and documentation
  • Supporting a strong team culture and mentoring junior staff

  • Proven experience in a Foreman or Leading Hand role on commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of structural construction methodologies and sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Commitment to health, safety, and quality outcomes
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve on the go
  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
