Having worked in this sector for a significant period, this company has ingrained knowledge of the intricacies of farming, rural, and agricultural businesses which underpin so much of the Canterbury economy. Due to some recent changes with this company, there is a renewed and refreshed desire to bring through some new talent, and re-consolidate client relationships.

Tō tūranga hou | Your new role

With opportunities for either an Intermediate or Senior Accountant, this role will be focussed on working closely with clients, understanding their business needs, and effectively providing accounting support, services, and advice. Focus areas will include preparation of accounts, compliance, tax forecasting, and general advisory work. The client base of this firm is well established, giving immediate credibility and opportunity to new joiners, and the ability to work with more experienced staff with an in-depth knowledge of the rural sector.

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for Chartered Accountants with 3+(Intermediate) or 5+(Senior) years post-qualification experience. You will need to have a strong interest in working with the rural sector, and good interpersonal skills. Client relationships already exist within the business - we are looking for someone who can take them that next step and make them their own. Successful candidates will already need to have the right to work in New Zealand.
