Customer Service Representative (Afternoon Shift)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service Representative to join their growing team supporting customers with premium home products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and delivering a high-quality customer experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers who have purchased a product and require support. You’ll handle inbound enquiries, guide customers through troubleshooting steps, and ensure cases are resolved efficiently or escalated where necessary. This is a full-time position working 10:30am – 7:00pm, suited to someone who prefers a later start.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy
Diagnose product-related issues and guide customers through troubleshooting steps
Provide clear, easy-to-understand instructions across a range of customer needs
Accurately log and manage customer cases in internal systems
Escalate technical or complex issues to the appropriate teams
Follow up on cases to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
Maintain a high standard of service in every interaction
About You
You are a strong communicator who remains calm under pressure and is driven to find solutions for customers.
Ideally, you will bring:
Experience in a customer service or contact centre environment
Exposure to warranty claims, after-sales support, or case management (preferred)
Strong problem-solving ability and a practical mindset
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
Confidence navigating systems and documenting case information
Resilience when handling challenging customer interactions
