Assistant Accountant within a well known property company. Newmarket based.

A well-established company within the property industry is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their lively and dynamic Newmarket office. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for their next permanent full-time position.

Your new role

  • Revenue and accounts receivable processing and management of the debtors’ ledgers
  • Accounts Payable
  • Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
  • Assist with month end close and Balance sheet reconciliations
  • IRD filing including GST and FBT returns

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Accounting degree, and ideally you will be working towards a CPA or CA qualification
  • A hardworking, organised, flexible and driven individual
  • Excellent time management with a track record of dealing with competing priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail is a must
