Our client is a well-established leader in the facilities services sector, known for their nationwide reach and commitment to excellence. This newly created Business Development Manager role is a strategic addition to their team, designed to drive growth by converting qualified leads and proactively identifying new business opportunities. As part of a supportive and knowledgeable organisation, you’ll be backed by a team that takes pride in what they do. You’ll work closely with the Regional Manager based in Hamilton, leveraging their expertise while enjoying the autonomy to make a real impact. 
Tō tūranga hou | Your new role 
- New business acquisition – lead generation and prospecting new clients
- Client engagement and site assessments 
- Proposal development and pricing 
- Tender & contract negotiation 
- Connect with and collaborate with regional franchisees and assist with inspections to identify new growth opportunities 
- Work with other regions to uncover national and wider regional opportunities 
- Cover health & safety compliance / policies 
Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed 
- At least 3–5 years experience within a sales / business development environment 
- Proven experience within facilities-based or service environments will work to your advantage
- Proven ability to secure & negotiate contracts with a high level of commercial acumen 
- Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills 
- Competent in health and safety standards and compliance 
- Proven proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems
