Your new company

You will be working with one of the most reputable companies across the Wellington Region. They focus on new residential and commercial projects across Wellington and Lower/Upper Hutt. They are currently seeking experienced Qualified Builders, Carpenters, Hammer Hands or Journeyman to help develop their growing team. This client is also open to Building Apprentices with a great work ethic. With the commercial/residential industry taking a dip, there is no better time to join a team who have projects until next year and beyond.

Your new role

You will be working on Commercial Projects. Duties can include but not limited to;

• Renovation work
• Commercial Fitouts
• Hardware installation/finishing work
• Façade maintenance
• Steel window installation
• Operating various hand and power tools
• Manual handling.

What you'll need to succeed

Candidates will be required to have the following:

• Proven experience working on Commercial Projects as a Carpenter, Hammer hand or Journeyman
• Working rights in New Zealand
• Working references covering the last 6 - 12months
• Current Driving Licence and own reliable transport
• Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol testing as required
• Additional tickets/qualifications would be advantageous.
