This reputable and well-established engineering consultancy is actively seeking to broaden its expertise within the Civil Infrastructure space. With strong business units specialising in land development, traffic and transportation and structural engineering, this newly created Director role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of their next stage of growth.

As a medium-sized consultancy, this role offers you the chance to be involved in projects with some of New Zealand's most prominent blue-chip clients, whilst working in a smaller more personalised environment and reporting directly to the CEO. This will give you the opportunity to make a recognisable and significant impact on the growth and success of the business.

Your new role

As the Director of Civil Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading a newly created team and building a new business around you. This will include both leveraging off existing business relationships and tapping into your own networks in the industry to create and secure new opportunities. Additionally, you'll use your technical expertise to help mentor and guide more junior engineers and support their career development.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive consulting engineering experience in the civil infrastructure space
  • Proven track record in business development and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Ideally, you will be a Chartered Engineer
